In Defense of Income Inequality

The most consequential implication of the Second Law of Thermodynamics is the stipulation that chaos is the natural order of the universe. Gradients of all sorts and categories are necessary to sustain a universe in motion that is alive and susceptible to changes of any kind including both degradation and growth. Death as the ultimate leveler, is the most pre-eminent state of zero-gradient phase of being.

======== Scope of the Plan========

This is the lead paragraph of what I construe to be my next ambitious project. An attempt to demonstrate that income inequality is the dynamo which propels free market capitalism to a prosperous and booming state of furious commercial activity. This should contrast with the class envy/ equality of outcome paradigm which undergirds President Obama’s re-election campaign calculus.

I consider it ambitious because while at first blush it seems painfully obvious it appears that it never has been sufficiently understood. To demonstrate the obvious has always been a thankless proposition.

So wish me luck if there is some bit of good will you have to spare after squandering it about during the Christmas season splurge.
